ANDRUS CENTER FOR LEARNING AND INNOVATION – YONKERS, NY:

Network Liaison (1/13/2021)

The Network Liaison for the Andrus Center for Learning and Innovation (ACLI) is responsible for managing the contracting process for new customers and ensuring that related pieces for account kickoffs are scheduled. The Network Liaison reports into the Director of Business & Operations and works closely with the Director of Business & Operations, Program Associate, and key faculty consultants to support on-boarding of new customers and service of existing customers, including compliance, as well as contracting for new opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or other related field with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or 2 years of experience managing customer accounts and contracts. Experience with Salesforce – both creating templates and managing customer database. Strong organizational skills, understanding of account management processes, and grasp of legal concepts, as well as knowledge of HIPAA, and compliance with contracts and services. Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent spelling and grammar. Strong technological background that includes database maintenance, preferably Salesforce, Microsoft Office core applications, Dropbox, and mail merges. Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment (CPST) Specialist – Per Diem, Yonkers, NY (2/26/2021)

The Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment (CPST) specialist will provide services that are goal-directed supports and solution-focused interventions intended to address challenges associated with a behavioral health need and to achieve identified goals or objectives as set forth in the child’s treatment plan. CPST services must be part of the treatment plan, which includes the activities necessary to correct or ameliorate conditions discovered during the initial assessment visits. CPST is a face- to-face intervention with the child/youth, family/caregiver or other collateral supports. This is a multi-component service that consists of therapeutic interventions such as counseling, as well as functional supports.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in social work, psychology, or in other related human services with two years of applicable experience working with children in foster care or Children’s Mental Health Program OR in lieu of applicable experience one who has been certified in an Evidenced Based Practice required. Master’s degree preferred.  Bilingual/Fluent (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required.  Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills. Community Licensed Clinical Social Worker (OLP), Yonkers, NY (2/26/2021)

The Community Licensed Clinical Social Worker (OLP) is a member of the ANDRUS community based mental health service team. The Community Licensed Clinical Social Worker is intended to provide clinical services to help prevent the progression of behavioral health needs through early identification and intervention and may be provided to children/youth in need of assessment for who behavioral health conditions have not yet been diagnosed. Services are also intended to provide treatment for children/youth with an existing diagnosis for whom flexible community-based treatment is needed to correct ameliorate conditions identified during an assessment process, such problems in functioning or capacity for healthy relationships. In addition, an assessment of needs may result in the recommendation of further medically necessary services, such as rehabilitative services. Services are delivered in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner.

Medicaid Managed Care Liaison, Yonkers, NY (4/2/2021)

The Medicaid Managed Care Liaison serves as the primary contact for the Medicaid Managed Care Plans (MMCP) and billing entities, ensuring coverage, compliance and accuracy, and access to healthcare for children/youth receiving services via Article 29I, Article 31, Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS), Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and Care Management as part of the Children’s Medicaid System Transformation. The Medicaid Managed Care Liaison directly ensures the coordination of health services for children enrolled in Article 29I and works collaboratively with Directors and Supervisors to support coordination of care in other programs. The Medicaid Managed Care Liaison makes sure Medicaid and Managed Care, is verified for CFTSS, HCBS, & Article 29I. The Medicaid Managed Care Liaison confirms contract compliance and credentialing with insurance companies, including Single Case Agreements. The Medicaid Managed Care Liaison attends internal and external planning and status meetings as needed and provides exemplary customer service and presents a professional image.

Must have A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field of Medicaid Managed Care for a foster care population. Recreation Therapist, Yonkers, NY (3/31/2021)

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Therapeutic Recreation with CRTS certification preferred) with no prior related experience OR an Associate’s Degree with two (2) years of experience working with emotionally & behaviorally deregulated youth. Ability to work as a member of interdisciplinary teams, design and facilitate clinically informed Therapeutic Recreation programs (monthly activity & trip calendars), and engage youth and colleagues through motivational leadership is a must. Candidates should be well organized, practice effective time-management, and be open to continued learning and feedback. Candidates should have strong oral, written, and computer skills.  Experience with OR willingness to receiving training in the following areas are a plus: Ropes Challenge Course facilitation/ Experiential Education, Lifeguarding, NYPUM youth dirt biking, vocational programming, animal-assisted interventions, music production, sports coaching, and other programmatic areas of Therapeutic Recreation. This position will also require intervening to support youth at necessary during times of emotional crisis.  Driver’s License in good standing is required.  The work Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 12pm-8pm. Must have physical capacity to restrain or assist in restraint of a child and to be TCI certified. The Milieu Therapist provides close supervision, counseling, and support to the children during all cottage-based activities; plans and implements individual and group initiatives to build children’s skills and self-esteem; ensures that the basic needs of children are met, and that the cottage is maintained in a safe, orderly, predictable, therapeutic, structured and clean condition; works as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes recreation therapists, teachers, social workers and other professionals.
