Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and/or related field with two (2) years relevant experience in serving children and families in child welfare, developmental disabilities, mental health, healthcare and/or other systems as well as those receiving preventive services. Care Coordinators serving high acuity enrollees will be required to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the needs of such children and their families as evidenced by additional years of experience, education, or training. Care Coordinators assigned to children who have medical fragility must have extensive experience in coordinating their care. Experience providing service coordination and information, linkages, and referrals for community-based services. Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills. A passion for serving children and families with special needs. Ability to travel to community-based agency offices, participant’s communities and homes within assigned catchment area. Campus Safety Officer, Yonkers, NY (7/9/2020), (Part Time, 15 hours per week)

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Must be a valid New York State licensed Security Officer in good standing, must maintain annual state certifications. Some relevant experience in Security/Law Enforcement is preferred. Good oral and written communication skills. Comfortable interfacing with local law enforcement and security agencies as needed. Aptitude for operation of basic computer and communication equipment, including walkie-talkies, and live feed monitoring of security cameras. Ability to compose and complete timely professional reports. Should be flexible to attend job-related training courses and expand skill set as needed. Schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3pm to 11am. Must have five (5) years clinical experience with pediatric nursing or primary care in mental health or pediatric health setting. Strong nursing clinical skills: physical/mental/emotional assessment skills of pediatric patients, including support of family. Full Time and Per Diem Residential Milieu Therapist’s, Yonkers, NY (7/9/2020)

ANDRUS is seeking Milieu Therapist’s who are responsible to maintain a safe, predictable and therapeutic living environment for children in care at ANDRUS. The Milieu Therapist provides close supervision, counseling, and support to the children during all cottage-based activities; plans and implements individual and group initiatives to build children’s skills and self-esteem; ensures that the basic needs of children are met, and that the cottage is maintained in a safe, orderly, predictable, therapeutic, structured and clean condition; works as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes recreation therapists, teachers, social workers and other professionals.

High School Diploma and 5 years practical work experience or sixty (60) college credits/Associates Degree.  Good Oral and written communication skills.  Must have physical capacity to restrain or assist in restraint of a child and to be TCI certified.  Experience working with children, preferably in a residential setting and/or with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Strong ability to communicate effectively with staff and to provide appropriate supervision of children.  Valid driver’s license in good standing is preferred.  For FT the schedule will vary and include evenings working wither Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday.
