Head Preschool Teacher, Tuckahoe, NY (8/21/19)

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field with a minimum of one (1) year full-time experience working with toddlers. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; knowledge of computer programs (Word & Excel).

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Temporary Position), Yonkers, NY (8/15/19)

Campus Safety Officer (Part Time, 15 hours per week), Yonkers, NY (8/1/19)

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.   Must be a valid New York State licensed Security Officer in good standing, must maintain annual state certifications.  Some relevant experience in Security/Law Enforcement is preferred.  Good oral and written communication skills.   Comfortable interfacing with local law enforcement and security agencies as needed.  Aptitude for operation of basic computer and communication equipment, including walkie-talkies, and live feed monitoring of security cameras.  Ability to compose and complete timely professional reports.  Should be flexible to attend job-related training courses and expand skill set as needed.  Schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 11pm  to 7am.   Must have valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing.  Must be flexible based on program needs, extreme weather conditions or emergency situations.

After School Youth Childcare Worker (Part Time, 20 hours per week), Eastchester, NY (8/1/19)

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum one (1) year of hands on childcare experience.  Athletic ability and creative mindset to play games, interact and supervise children from five (5) years of age to twelve (12) years of age is a must.   Ability to assist element children in homework is important.  Must be dependable and available for Monday through Friday, up to 20 hours a week from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.   Schedule can be flexible.

Per Diem Overnight Milieu Therapist, Yonkers, NY (7/23/19)

High School Diploma and 5 years practical work experience or sixty (60) college credits.  Good Oral and written communication skills.  Must have physical capacity to restrain or assist in restraint of a child and to be TCI certified.  Experience working with children, preferably in a residential setting and/or with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Strong ability to communicate effectively with staff and to provide appropriate supervision of children.   Schedule is Saturdays and Sunday.

Assistant Director of Residential Services, Yonkers, NY (7/23/19)

The Assistant Director of Residential Services is responsible for supporting and assisting the Director’s mission and vision of managing and leading the residential program. The Assistant Director works closely with the Director in all aspects of day to day operations, including but not limited to the coaching, teaching, and supervision of residential staff members and teams. The role of the AD is also to support and strengthen our programming and Sanctuary model to ensure that we are informed by best practices in the field and we are creating and implementing innovative and evolving treatment approaches. The Assistant Director is also responsible for assisting the Director and the campus leadership team in managing and evaluating Sanctuary and TCI practices.

Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor Degree, Preferable in Human Services with five (5) Years of administrative eexperience.  Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills.  Strong Organizational Skills.  Experience Working with Children, Preferably in a Residential Setting.  Must possess ability to sit, stand, walk, run, climb stairs, and lift weights of up to 30 lbs.  Have physical capacity to restrain or assist in the restraint of a child.  Be able to hear and see well enough to provide appropriate supervision of children.  This position holds a 35 hour work week including evening and weekend hours when necessary.   The Assistant Director of Residential Treatment is required to be on-call as RTP on a scheduled basis and must be available for crisis as needed.    Must live in ANDRUS housing provided on our campus.   The schedule for this role is Sunday through Thursday.

Part Time Clinician, White Plains, NY (7/22/19)

New York State LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or LMFT with relevant experience with children, adults and families; must have knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities of psychotherapeutic intervention and knowledge of Evidence Based Treatment.  Must have strong computer skills; knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR); strong oral and written communication skills and a driver’s license in good standing. Schedule is flexible but must allow for availability to work 3-4 days per week and able to work afternoons and evenings.

Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Peekskill & Yonkers, NY (28 hours per week) (7/17/19)

Current New York State Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner with License and DEA registration plus BC/BE in child, (adolescent) psychiatry.  Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner, including child and adolescent psychiatry.    Excellent analytical and clinical skills to resolve complex clinical and diagnostic problems.  Strong computer skills with knowledge of EMR.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to meet session productive standards.  The schedule will include four (4), seven (7) hour work days, as needed in the program and generally within Monday through Friday schedule, 9am to 4pm. It may include evenings and Saturdays.   The position will work 28 hours per week  (14 hours in Peekskill, NY and 14 hours in Yonkers, NY)

Occupational Therapist – School Based, Yonkers, NY (7/9/19)

Successful completion and graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program recognized by NBCOT and completion of all fieldwork requirements (Master’s Degree or higher preferred), Certification as an occupational therapist by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and current New York State license as an Occupational Therapist with three (3) Years of related experience with children, with at least one (1)  in setting serving children who have self-regulation challenges, trauma histories, or are on the autism spectrum. Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or School Psychology with Professional license – Clinical Psychology with registration and must have at least 2 years of post-doctoral clinical experience with treatment and assessment of children or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.  Must have knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities of psychotherapeutic intervention. Functional and administrative supervision exercised over staff experience.  Excellent analytical and management skills to resolve complex clinical and administrative problems.  Must be computer literate.  Must have good oral and written communication skills.  Ability to meet session productivity standards.   This is a part time role but must be will willing to work at least 2 evenings in three days.

Part Time Senior After School Youth Childcare Worker, Eastchester, NY (06/24/2019)

The Part Time Senior Counselor is responsible for assisting the Director in developing and coordinating a quality after school program.  Oversees the day-to-day operation, responsible for planning activities and oversee daily staff duties. The Senior Counselor must be available for closing of the program each day at 6:30pm or later and available for evening parent meetings/holiday events/open houses. This position follows the Eastchester Union Free school district calendar.

Bilingual Care Coordinator, Yonkers NY (06/14/19)

The Bilingual Care Coordinator is ultimately responsible for the overall provision and coordination of services to assigned caseload. The Care Coordinator guides program enrollees and their caretakers (legal guardians) through the health care system by assisting with access issues, developing relationships with service providers, and tracking interventions and outcomes. 

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field with  two (2) years relevant  experience in serving children and families in child welfare, developmental disabilities, mental health, healthcare and/or other systems as well as those receiving preventive services.  Care Coordinators serving high acuity enrollees will be required to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the needs of such children and their families as evidenced by additional years of experience, education, or training.  Care Coordinators assigned to children who have medical fragility must have extensive experience in coordinating their care.  Experience providing service coordination and information, linkages, and referrals for community-based services.  Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills.  A passion for serving children and families with special needs.  Ability to travel to community-based agency offices, participant’s communities and homes within assigned catchment area.  Ability to receive feedback to professionally grow and/or improve.  Proven self-management abilities, including meeting deadlines, ensuring compliance with agency policy and procedures and overseeing complete and timely maintenance of agency records, in accordance with contractual requirements.  Ability to adhere to our organization’s core values.  Bilingual (English-Spanish) is required for the position .  Valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing. ANDRUS is seeking Milieu Therapist’s and One to One’s who are responsible to maintain a safe, predictable and therapeutic living environment for children in care at ANDRUS. The Milieu Therapist provides close supervision, counseling, and support to the children during all cottage-based activities; plans and implements individual and group initiatives to build children’s skills and self-esteem; ensures that the basic needs of children are met, and that the cottage is maintained in a safe, orderly, predictable, therapeutic, structured and clean condition; works as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes recreation therapists, teachers, social workers and other professionals.

High School Diploma and 5 years practical work experience or sixty (60) college credits/Associates Degree.  Good Oral and written communication skills.  Must have physical capacity to restrain or assist in restraint of a child and to be TCI certified.  Experience working with children, preferably in a residential setting and/or with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Director of ANDRUS Center for Learning and Innovation/Sanctuary Institute, Yonkers, NY (10/9/17)

The Director is responsible for the overall operations of the ANDRUS Center for Learning and Innovation and the Sanctuary Institute, including managing all training and product development, operations, contracts, scheduling and coordinating all training and consultation, and marketing. The Director provides oversight of fiscal management and accountability of the ACLI/SI.

REQUIREMENTS:  PhD, MSW, LCSW, LMSW, MPH or comparable graduate degree with a minimum of three (3) years management experience in a training/educational environment and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience with the Sanctuary Model. Strong organizational skills, written and communication skills are a must.  Must have ability to travel.  Strong technological background for telecommuting.  Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing.  Must be able to sit, stand, walk, see, climb stairs, and carry up to 30 lbs. Must have the ability to adhere to our organization’s core values. The scheduled is 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. Flexibility is a must for this position. This role will entail approximately 80% travel with 50% overnight travel domestic and 5% overnight international travel.
