Assistant Residential Program Manager, Yonkers, NY (6/14/18)

The Assistant Program Manager is responsible for direct supervision of the Program Supervisor, Parent Survey Specialist or Family Support Worker, Fatherhood Advocate and interns/volunteers in the Healthy Families program. The Assistant Program Manager provides supervisory oversight for the program as designed by the Program Manager and assist with some managerial aspects as identified.  The Assistant Program Manager reviews developmental questionnaires and follows up referrals to EI, CPSE and other medical resources as needed.  The Assistant Program Manager coordinates required orientation and ongoing training related to home visiting.  The Assistant Program Manager at times is responsible for carrying a caseload.  The Assistant Program Manager works along with the Program Manager to   ensure that all home visiting and program activities adhere to the NYS Office of Children and Family Services guidelines and Healthy Families New York policy and procedures.  In addition, the Assistant Program Manager supports the Program Manager with all interdivisional and collaborative program projects.

Requirements:  Associate’s Degree required with minimum of two (2) years experience working directly with children in the human services field, and at least one (1) year experience also managing administrative and operational tasks.  Strong oral and written communication skills.  Experience working with children, preferably in a residential setting.  Must possess ability to sit, stand, walk, run, climb stairs, lift weights of up to 30 lbs.  This position holds a 40 hour work week including evening and weekend hours as necessary.  Must be able to be flexible in response to cottage needs.

Associate Vice President of Campus Programs, Yonkers, NY (5/3/18)

The Associate Vice President of Campus Programs is responsible for planning, monitoring and improving the Campus Programs at ANDRUS.   The AVP of Campus Programs is responsible for the supervision and development of the Director of Residential Programs, The Orchards School Principal, The director for Clinical Services, the Day Treatment Program Clinical Supervisor and the Chief Nurse and ultimately all staff and interns who report to these individuals.   He / She maintains ultimate responsibility for coordinating the delivery of safe, structured, enriching and individualized programs for each child in care.  

Requirements:  MSW or Doctoral Degree in a Human Service Field with five (5) years of administrative experience.   Strong oral and written communication skills.  Experience working with children, preferably in a residential setting.  Must possess ability to sit, stand, walk, run, climb stairs and lift weights of up to 30lbs.  Have physical capacity to restrain or assist in the restraint of a child.  Be able to hear and see well enough to provide appropriate supervision of children.    This is a 35 hour work week including evening and weekend hours when necessary.   Ability to be on call and available for consultation in crisis as needed.    Required to live in ANDRUS housing.

ANDRUS is seeking Milieu Therapist’s and One to One’s who are responsible to maintain a safe, predictable and therapeutic living environment for children in care at ANDRUS. The Milieu Therapist provides close supervision, counseling, and support to the children during all cottage-based activities; plans and implements individual and group initiatives to build children’s skills and self-esteem; ensures that the basic needs of children are met, and that the cottage is maintained in a safe, orderly, predictable, therapeutic, structured and clean condition; works as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes recreation therapists, teachers, social workers and other professionals.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Yonkers, NY (12/21/17)

Director of ANDRUS Center for Learning and Innovation/Sanctuary Institute, Yonkers, NY (10/9/17)

The Director is responsible for the overall operations of the ANDRUS Center for Learning and Innovation and the Sanctuary Institute, including managing all training and product development, operations, contracts, scheduling and coordinating all training and consultation, and marketing. The Director provides oversight of fiscal management and accountability of the ACLI/SI.

REQUIREMENTS:  PhD, MSW, LCSW, LMSW, MPH or comparable graduate degree with a minimum of three (3) years management experience in a training/educational environment and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience with the Sanctuary Model.
