During the Nonprofit’s annual Backpack Bonanza in August
Westchester, NY, August 5, 2015 – Having sharpened pencils, ink-filled pens, unmarked notebooks and unscuffed backpacks is for many children an unremarkable annual rite. But for the nearly 4,000 children assisted by ANDRUS, a nonprofit providing mental and behavioral health services to children and families from the NY metro area, having a backpack stuffed with new supplies is downright amazing.
What: ANDRUS Backpack Bonanza for Children – an appeal for donations of backpacks filled with back-to-school supplies for those in greatest need
When: Donations Welcome throughout August
- Special drop-off days – Mon., Aug. 10th & Thurs., Aug. 13th, 10am-2pm – with lemonade, snacks and much gratitude!
Where: ANDRUS Campus, 1156 North Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701
Info: Eric Osterman, EOsterman@jdam.org / 914-965-3700 x1097
